Our mission is to provide every pontoon owner and passenger, both in and out of the water with the best possible boating experience. We are committed to delivering exceptional service, quality products and memories while introducing a safer and more enjoyable boating environment.
As pontoon boat owners, we recognized the drastic need for a safer water entry/exit that was away from the propellor, as well as the obvious separation between the boating experience of those who can get in the water and those who cannot.
Like all us boat owners, we often have passengers who maybe elderly, ill, injured, pregnant or with little ones. Those passengers may not want to, or cannot get into the water. For whatever their reason that may be.
The Bow Mate now allows all these individuals to become a part of the water activity group creating a massively different experience. They are now able to stand or sit right at the waters surface without committing to full body entry. The experience is like sitting at the edge of a swimming pool. Enough to cool off and interact with those swimming without getting fully into the water.
Mothers are always on high alert when their young children are entering and exiting the boat from the rear ladder, which is right beside the propellor blade. The Bow Mate allows children to easily enter and exit the water, as well as parents also assisting with helping them out.
Many of our elderly simply do not have the strength or desire to fully commit and be submersed in the water. The ability to now sit and enjoy being cool below the knees is very pleasing and non stressful.
Expecting mothers are often given strict medical advice to abstain from submersing in hot tubs, lakes and the ocean. The Bow Mate allows them to also stand or sit at water level - being cooled - and interact with those active in the water itself.
Those who maybe ill or inured may not be able to enter the water. Even sitting on a water flotation device does not always provide the confidence of a bodily area staying dry.
The Bow Mate literally changes EVERYONE'S pontoon boating experience giving them comfort in and out of the boat as well as life long memories.
Founded by a group of boating enthusiasts in 2024, we drew upon our backgrounds from Aerospace, Aviation and Racing, to create an engineered product to bring enjoyment to every boating enthusiast and passenger.
The safety, difficulty and concerns with entering / exiting a pontoon near the propellor, and the lack of enjoyment for those who are unable to enjoy the water due to age, health, injury etc, led us to the creation of The Bow Mate.
Create, Engineer and manufacture intelligent boating products that enhance the experience and connect the passenger on a boat with those in the water.
Can't find The Bow Mate in your boat dealership? Ask them to connect with us to fill that sales and display need.
Our goal is simple really....we want everyone on the boat and in the water to have the safest and greatest possible adventure with lasting memories. So much so that all of them will want to repeat it.
